In 2007, John Eisert and his wife, Jaime, adopted their pit mix, Annabell. She had serious aggression issues and John turned to Bill at Bill’s Dog Training for help. After witnessing the wonderful work done with Annabell, John began to volunteer his time assisting in Bill’s classes. He eventually began working under the mentorship of Bill. In 2009 when Bill brought about plans to retire, John decided to pick up where he left off, along with help from a friend and Passion 4 Paws was founded.
Over the next decade, they helped hundreds of dogs and owners. John started an apprenticeship program, much like what Bill had done, and the team grew from there. All of our trainers started out as students with a love for animals.
In 2020, John and his wife decided to move their family south and asked one of his trainers, Erika Yob, to take over the company as owner and lead trainer. Check out our Meet the Trainers section to learn more about each of us!
